What's the difference?
Well for clients that buy their website out right there is no requirement to pay for onging support and they wear the cost of ownership up front.
For those who Hire they avoid the upfront cost of an expensive website with the restriction that we retain control and ownership of their website infrastructure.
From a cost perspective our hire rate is the equivalent of paying 10% of the price of the website per month (interest only - no principle)
We also provide a different more sophisticated version of the software for hire clients that we maintain intellectual property rights over in contrast to our buy up front option.
